CTE Teacher
I received my bachelor's degree from Stephen F. Austin State University. I graduated with my Masters in School Counseling from the Univesity of St. Thomas a few short years ago. Currently I am studying to take the National Counselors Exam so I can become a Licensed Professional Counselor. I have completed all of the requirements to become a therapist, save the test. I believe strongly in advocacy and my becoming an LPC will help me in these endeavors and will also help me in better serving my students as well.

Capturing Kids' Hearts
I am currently a CTE teacher on the high school campus. I teach Principles of Education, Instructional Practices/Practicum, and Counseling and Mental Health. I have taught many different courses in the time I have been teaching, and I’ve enjoyed all of them. I have a teachers heart, and I love being able to teach students who want to become teachers themselves.
I have been married to my husband Glenn for fourteen years and we have three children together. My oldest is in middle school, our middle child is going to fourth, and our son is starting kindergarten this year. All of my children attend CES and we love our school family here. We have several pets as well: Gary and Tiger Lily are our cats and we have Apollo and Plato our two dogs.
When I am not teaching I like to be with my family.
