English III

amerEnglish III is an American Literature course that will focus equally on reading and writing. Students will study how American thought and the American voice has developed and evolved in literature from its inception to the twentieth century. Students will read and evaluate a variety of texts including novels, poetry, essays, plays, short stories, and informational texts. Students will further develop composition and rhetorical skills,  research skills, and critical thinking skills.
