I graduated from ACC and transfered to Sam Houston State University. I graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in 1998. I was employed by Waller ISD as a fifth grade math teacher and high school volleyball coach in the fall of 1998. I stayed in Waller for 15 years. During my time there, I was a math teacher, volleyball coach, softball coach, Elementary Math Coordinator, an Elementary Assistant Principal, and an Elementary Principal. I obtained my Master Degree of Edcation from Lamar Unversity after being a teacher leader for 9 years. My family and I moved to Centerville in 2013, where I became an Assistant Principal at Centerville Jr/Sr High School. I have been a High School Principal at Centerville Jr/Sr High School for 3 years. I have been in education for 23 years and I love every minute of it.
I am married and have two kids. My husband, Donnie, and I have been married for 21 years. MacKenize is our oldest daughter and is attending college. Wyatt is our son who attends Centerville Jr/Sr High School. We have a number a pets including dogs, horses, cows, and a cat. We enjoy all the country life has to offer. There is never a dull moment at our house and there is always something to do or fix.
I enjoy the great outdoors especially water and anything high school and college sports related. I am very active in my spare time. You will find me walking, jogging, or working out. I love to make anything a competition and I do not like to lose.
